Waste Heat Boiler utilizes the hot flue gas from an upstream process to generate steam. It recovers various types of waste heat generated from the production process of steel, chemical, cement etc. and converts such recovered heat into useful thermal energy. Waste Heat Boiler contributes to the society in improvement of thermal efficiency, energy saving and environmental protection. Flue gas temperature, flow, pressure, corrosiveness and dust content vary greatly depending on actual facility discharging waste heat. Hence the design and fabrication of waste heat boiler require rich experience and technical capability.
In April 2020, industrial boiler manufacturer Taishan Group won a HRSG related order from South Korea. The scope of supply includes four sets of steam drums, one set of deaerator, two sets of blowdown tanks, and one set of flue duct. The final user is respectively POSCO and Hyundai Steel, both of them are famous steel mills in the world.
